Credit Card anyone???

EXCELLENT ONE..........

Banking --customer service!

This is hilarious!!! .

Be sure and cancel your credit cards before you die.
This is so priceless, and so easy to see happening, customer service
being what it is today. Anyone who has dealt with an estate will agree
with this.

A lady died this past January, and Citibank billed her for February and

March for their annual service charges on her credit card, and added
late fees and interest on the monthly charge. The balance had been
$0.00, now somewhere around $60.00. A family member placed a call to
Citibank.

Here is the exchange:

Family Member: "I am calling to tell you she died in January."
Citibank: "The account was never closed and the late fees and charges
still apply."

Family Member: "Maybe, you should turn it over to collections."
Citibank: "Since it is two months past due, it already has been."

Family Member : So, what will they do when they find out she is dead?"
Citibank: "Either report her account to frauds division or report her
to

the credit bureau, maybe both!"

Family Member: "Do you think God will be mad at her?" (I really liked
this part!!!!)
Citibank: "Excuse me?"

Family Member: "Did you just get what I was telling you - the part
about

her being dead?"
Citibank: "Sir, you'll have to speak to my supervisor." (Duh!)
Supervisor gets on the phone:Family Member: "I'm calling to tell you,
she died in January."
Citibank: "The account was never closed and late fees and charges still

apply." (This must be a phrase taught by the bank!)

Family Member: "You mean you want to collect from her estate?"
Citibank: (Stammer) "Are you her lawyer?"

Family Member: "No, I'm her great nephew."
(Lawyer info given)
Citibank: "Could you fax us a certificate of death?"

Family Member: "Sure." (Fax number is given)

After they get the fax:
Citibank: "Our system just isn't setup for death. I don't know what
more

I can do to help."

Family Member: "Well, if you figure it out, great! If not, you could
just keep billing her. I don't think she will care."
Citibank: "Well, the late fees and charges do still apply." (What is
wrong with these people?!?)

Family Member: "Would you like her new billing address?"
Citibank: "That might help."

Family Member: "Odessa Memorial Cemetery , Highway 129, Plot Number 69."

Citibank: "Sir, that's a cemetery!"

Family Member: "What do you do with dead people on your planet?

(Priceless!!)

Advertisements Swallowed the Inaugural Ceremony of CWG

I am just an ordinary citizen who cannot afford to come a long way from Kerala to Delhi and watch the CWG inauguration ceremony. I do really appreciate for the efforts you have put in telecasting the LIVE programme of the ceremony. I really liked it and thanks for the live telecast of the programme.

BUT I AM SAD, SORRY AND ANGRY TO SAY THAT THE ADVERTISEMENTS BETWEEN A LIVE AND HISTORIC EVENT LIKE THIS SWALLOWED THE EVENT AND THE BEAUTY OF WATCHING A LIVE EVENT. THIS IS NOT ONLY THE CASE OF ME, BUT PEOPLE WHO DEPEND ON TELEVISION FOR WATCHING THE PROGRAMME AND THE WHOLE OF INDIA EXCEPT FOR THE 60,000 PEOPLE CAME TO THE STADIUM CANNOT DENY THE FACT THAT SHOWING ADVERTISEMENTS IN BETWEEN A PROGRAM LIKE CWG INAUGURATION GOT US ANGRY. AN EXAMPLE CAN BE CLEARLY MENTIONED. DURING THE FINAL STAGES OF THE INAUGURATION, WHEN A TRAIN JOURNEY WAS HELD SHOWING THE GLIMPSES OF THE INDIAN RURAL CULTURE, IN BETWEEN THAT JOURNEY, THERE WAS ADVERTISEMENTS FOR 5 MINUTES AND BEING A CITIZEN OF INDIA AND KERALA, I PERSONALLY COULD NOT WITNESS THE MARTIAL ARTS OF KERALA AND A FEW OTHER THINGS LIKE VILLAGE CULTURE ETC. FROM BEGINNING ITSELF THERE WAS FULL OF ADVERTISEMENTS. THE EVENT WAS LIKE A BREAK BETWEEN THE ADVERTISEMENTS.

BY DOING SO, U PEOPLE DID NOT RECOGNIZE THAT THE WHOLE NATION IS WATCHING THE PROGRAMME AND DOORDARSHAN IS THE ONLY CHANNEL WHICH SHOWS THE LIVE TELECAST.

IF THIS IS THE CASE, IN THE COMING DAYS THE CHANNEL WOULD SHOW ADVERTISEMENTS WHEN AN ATHLETE IS ABOUT TO FINISH THE RACE OR WHEN THE SHOOTERS FIRE A BULLET AND THE BULLET REACHES THE HALF WAY. WE WON'T BE ABLE TO SEE THE RESULT THEN.

PLEASE CUT SHORT THE ADVERTISEMENTS OR JUST REJECT SHOWING ADVERTISEMENTS FOR AN EVENT LIKE THIS ATLEAST IN FUTURE. REMEMBER THAT WE HAVE THE CHANCE OF HOSTING THE OLYMPIC GAMES.

THANK YOU,

ISSUES AFFECTING THE COMMONWEALTH GAMES AND OUR COUNTRY!!!

The Commonwealth Games is making our country shameful in front of the world. Earlier it was the corruption scam affected the game and many heads got rolled in this matter. Corruption-that too not in thousands and lakhs, but in crores. The Govt officials of the country and the players and officials from around the world shared their feelings in this regard.
Now, only 15 days left for the games event and still the event is under the scanner. The organizers are not able to provide even the basic facilities for the participants and the officials. The bridge to the main entrance of the games village is collapsed into two and as per report, 22 workers are injured and the condition of 5 of them is very serious. Hotel and ground facilities are not upto the standards. The construction labors are using the facilities which are supposed to be given for the participants.
Many participants do not wish to join for the games and many have left already...Still, many are in the verge of boycotting the event due to the reasons of safety, security and facility. Also, bomb blast and terrorist attack have affected the city and the security officials from other countries are not happy with the security which is arranged for the event. In fact, they do not wish to put their player's life into threat and wants to pull back from the event.
And finally, heavy rain and flood has affected the city, it's traffic and the timely completion of pending construction works in the games village.
Still, the games authorities are in the same blame game seeking for the responsible person and wants Mr. Kalmaadi to take the responsibility and he is denying the allegations against the CWG.
LET US ALL PRAY AND HOPE THAT ALL THE ISSUES AFFECTING THE GAMES WILL BE TACKLED BY THE ORGANIZERS AND BY ALL OTHER SUPPORTING STAFFS REAL SOON AND WILL MAKE THE COUNTRY AND HER PEOPLE PROUD SO THAT WE CAN KEEP OUR HEADS HELD HIGH IN FRONT OF THE WORLD!!!
"Anybody can comment on this".

My Angel!!!

To my silent life of plain flat waves,

Along came an Angel with a song in her heart.

A song which took me to those heights of happiness,

The Angel played music, the music of my whole existence,

The music took me to those heights of Love, which made a feeling in me;

A feeling which cannot be expressed in words.

But the poor me took it for granted,

Walked away into the crowd.

Hoping that the Angel will stay there forever,

Playing music for me.

As never I thought, The Angel disappeared into the sky,

Leaving me the memories of her music for me,

Leaving me alone in the dark, leaving lonely in the crowd.

Still I wait for the Angel to come to me, sing the song of love,

Asking myself: “When does the Angel come to me?”

I wait all alone to get her flowers of Love, the flowers of joy.

“The Poem is dedicated to all the True Lovers of the world, and to all those people who could never express their love for dear ones.”
